Cousins T: Private Thomas Frederick (90729)

152nd Company Labour Corps

Thomas Frederick Cousins, who lived at 8 Townsend Street in Cheltenham with his wife and parents, originally enlisted in the Labour Company of the Devonshire Regiment.

He was later transferred to the 152nd Company of the Labour Corps with whom he was serving when he was struck down by pneumonia in the early summer of 1918.

He was taken to 57 Casualty Clearing Station at Aubigny for treatment, and his wife, Helen was notified of his condition. She attempted to get permission to come and see him but was denied and sadly Private Thomas Frederick Cousins died on 27 June 1918.
